In 2020, Operation Salute partnered with The Front Page Initiative (@thefrontpageinitiative on Instagram) during Remembrance Week. Youth creative writers and journalists came together to draft multiple pieces or work dedicated to our Veterans.
The Front Page Initiative (FPI) wishes to shed light on important topics that are not as popular in our local media cycles. For example, medical breakthroughs, technological innovations, activism, civil rights movements, and more. FPI aspires to bring people together from all over the world in a safe and welcoming learning environment where they can get to know all of the facts and details of the news that they see in their everyday lives.
The organization prides itself on being honest to the public and staying genuine to its viewers. At the same time, The Front Page Initiative wishes to provide a platform for all creative writers who wish to share their creativity with the world. FPI hopes to give everyone a chance to show off their talents and express themselves in a literary format.
